MISSIONS
We seek to empower ministry locally, nationally, and internationally through mission partnerships. Through those partnerships we provide opportunities to the members of Christ United to engage in changing the world by spending their time in service with those partner organizations. We encourage everyone to get involved in one or more of the following ways:
Pray for the missions we sponsor and our mission teams
Give to Christ United Missions Fund to support missions here and around the world
Serve on one of our teams or by contacting one of our supported agencies
Change the World Service Events
Volunteer alongside others in service with local ministry opportunities. We emphasize projects that are family-friendly and involve a wide variety of skills and abilities so that everyone can participate. If you have Christ United apparel, please wear it. Victory Health Partners
Tuesday, April 7 | 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Convention Center | Help to prepare the main exhibition hall to host their "Hope for Healing" gathering. This should not be physically strenuous but will require many hands. Victory Health is a local provider of medical care for persons who do not have insurance and was founded as the result of a transformational mission trip hosted by Christ United years ago.
Dumas Wesley’s S.A.I.L.
Thursday, April 9 | 9:00 a.m. - Noon | 126 Mobile St. | Assist Dumas Wesley in their S.A.I.L. Program to provide daily activities, a meal for low income seniors, and organize the program's storage space.
Dwell Mobile
Monday, April 20 | 8:30 a.m. | Noon | 2496 Government Blvd. Provide general sorting, displaying, and collecting items within their on-site Thrift Store. Volunteers of all activity levels and skill sets.
